What we collect, and what we don't.

Brand Up There runs no advertising trackers and no analytics. There are no third-party scripts on this site beyond the two services named below.

Reading the site

You can read every article, showcase and directory entry without an account, and without being tracked. We set no cookie for reading.

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs — the page requested, the time, a user agent and an IP address — which it retains for a short period for security and diagnostics. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address when a page loads. That is the only request that leaves our own domain unless you sign in.

If you create an account

We store your email address and the name you give us. If you sign in with Google, Google passes us your email address and the name and picture on your Google profile — nothing else, and we never gain access to your Google account.

Your password is created and checked by Supabase, our authentication provider. It is hashed before storage and is never visible to this site or to us.

Likes and comments

A like records which post you liked and when. A comment records the text you wrote, when you wrote it, and the account that wrote it.

Comments are public: anyone reading the page sees the text and the name on your account. Delete your own comment at any time using the Delete control beside it.

Forms

When you subscribe to a newsletter, join a waitlist, register interest in an event or send an enquiry, we store what you typed and email it to our desk. We use it to answer you and to send what you asked for, and for nothing else.

We do not sell, rent or share any of it, and we do not pass it to advertisers.

What is stored in your browser

A session token from Supabase, so you stay signed in. A copy of your display name, so the header can show it before the session loads. Your motion preference, if you turn animation off. Nothing else, and none of it is used for tracking.

Who processes your data

Supabase — accounts, likes, comments and form submissions. Hosted in the EU (Ireland).
Vercel — serves the site and runs its functions.
Resend — sends confirmation and notification email. EU region.
Google — serves typefaces, and handles sign-in if you choose it.

Keeping and deleting

We keep account data while the account exists, and form submissions while they are useful for answering you. Ask us to delete your account or anything you have sent and we will, by email to hello@brandupthere.com.

You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or for a correction, at the same address.

Changes

If this page changes materially we will say so here rather than quietly editing it.
