Terms
Using Brand Up There.
Plain terms for reading the site, holding an account and posting a response. By using the site you agree to them.
What this site is
Brand Up There publishes writing about brands, agencies and design. It is part-owned by scolpta and editorially independent of it.
The brands, agencies, people and projects on this site are invented. They are sample content for a publication in development. Nothing here is a report about a real company, and nothing here should be relied on as news, research or advice.
Your account
You may create one account, with accurate details. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done through your account.
You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you are signing up for an organisation, you confirm you may do so on its behalf.
Close your account whenever you like by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why where we can.
What you post
You keep ownership of your comments. By posting one you allow us to show, store and distribute it as part of the site, and to remove it.
Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, deceptive or someone else's to give. Do not impersonate anyone, scrape the site, or use it to advertise. We may remove a response, without notice, if it breaks this.
Comments are public. Treat anything you write as something anyone can read.
Our writing and design
The articles, photography, code and visual identity on this site belong to us or to our contributors. Quote us with credit and a link. Ask before republishing anything in full.
Email we send
We send what you asked for: a confirmation, a newsletter you chose, a reply to an enquiry. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops it.
Availability
The site is offered as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, or free of faults, and we may change or withdraw any part of it.
Features that depend on other services — sign-in, email, comments — can fail when those services do.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, or for loss resulting from content you knew to be invented. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will say so on this page rather than altering it quietly. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
